The origin of Punti e Fantasia dates back to the immediate post-war period, when our grandmother Ersilia started tailoring sheets, pillowcases and napkins with the only cloths available, in order to sell them directly at markets in Abruzzo, Italy.
In 1971 her daughter Giovina moved to Monza, where she opened her first contract manufacturing workshop and started working for the most important textile companies in Italy – her collaboration with Frette lasted until 2001.
The first Punti e Fantasia shop was opened in the early 1990s in Monza city centre, when Giovina started a collaboration with her daughter Rita.
In 1998 a second shop was opened in the very heart of Milan, Via Solferino, and our first collections for infants and children were launched.
In 2001, thanks to new technologies of high-precision embroidery, Punti e Fantasia was able to consolidate its leading role in the industry of custom tailoring.
